Texaco Petronius

This field is located in Viosca Knoll, block 786, southeast of New Orleans. It lies in water depths of approximately 1754 feet (535 meters). Petronius is the largest free-standing structure in the world. Galvotec is proud to say that Texaco's choice was Galvotec-CW-III Aluminum Sacrificial Anodes for their Petronius cathodic protection system.

Aluminum Anodes

Galvotec aluminum anodes can be manufactured with a wide variety of core configurations, to accommodate different anode specifications and applications. If your requirements are for a new structure, or to retrofit an existing platform, Galvotec can manufacture any anode to your requirements.

Zinc Anodes

Zinc Anodes manufactured by Galvotec meet or exceed the industry standards. Zinc Anodes manufactured to the latest Mil-Spec also are covered by the ASTM-418-95 Type I Alloy. Other types of Zinc Anode Alloys manufactured would meet or exceed the latest ASTM-418-95 Type II Alloy.

Magnesium Anodes

Galvotec's magnesium anodes are produced in a variety of shapes and sizes for use in seawater, brackish water, and fresh water cathodic protection systems.
